On this side, I have placed all the audio paths along with the power supplies. There are two rack mounted power supplies from Powerwerx.com and another power supply hidden behind the microphone mixer next to the speaker. The mic pathway consists of a Behringer 6 channel mixer/preamp, which mainly is used to supply phantom voltage to my station microphone. It also cuts the bass frequencies before going into the radio.

On the audio output side, all audio signals first go through isolation transformers (the isolation patch bay on the bottom of the rack) in order to eliminate any hum. They then go to the 8 channel stereo mixer, and from there go through a 16 channel graphic equalizer before entering the 120 watt stereo amplifier. The amplifier is high wattage to have plenty of headroom and to make distortion a thig of the past. -- I never have it turned up very much, no matter how deaf my wife accuses me of being! The speakers are automobile speakers which can handle over two hundred watts of audio power, and they sound quite good!
