I purchased this from another ham and then stored it in my shed for over a year because I broke my arm and couldn't do anything for a year. Then I attempted to put it up on top of a 30 foot tower, but it was too heavy to lift up and put on the top, and the gin pole was not long enough to lift it high enough. So, I ended up putting it atop a 12 foot pipe and made a tilt-up section.

The vertical works great. The S-meter readings are only about 1 or 2 S units down from the Beam, and sometimes they are stronger. The noise on the vertical is usually less than on the beam or dipoles, so sometimes I can hear better on the vertical. It covers 40 through 6 meters with low SWR.
